Recent Work
Recently I have been creating social first ads for Omaze. Working closely with the branding team I helped inject some fun into their campaigns. Learning the brand tone, presenters roles and target audiences I was able to create over 40 scripts for the different houses they were showcasing.
Thoughful Advertising
When creating ads for something as spectacular as luxury houses it's all too easy to focus on the show stopping features but that can leave out the viewer.
I like to find things the average person will relate to so they can feel themselves actually there.
This ad is the perfect example of what I mean by this. Titled Muddy Boots this is a piece I'm particularly proud of and was part of the Christmas campaign.

Fun Content That Sells
I've always admired brands that are brave enough to have fun with their audience. To put their head through the fourth wall and meet the viewer at their level. My experience as a comedian means I've literally been doing that for years. This next ad is a great example of injecting fun and interactivity into a campaign. The aim being that the viewer is joining in the game and doesn't feel like they're being advertised to.
The added bonus of this ad is there was a boost in engagement as people piled in with their own puns in the comments.

Content that isn't afraid of risk
If your content isn't taking a risk every so often the it's not getting attention. Trying to please everyone will get you nowhere online, in fact being divisive can drive engagement up.
I took this idea and very lightly used it in an ad for a house in London. I predicted that a house in London was going to dive both negative and positive comments. So I decided we should use this as an advantage and beat the haters to the punch.
The risk I took was to sell the house while listing every negative stereotype about its location. This was something that had it's sceptics but we took the risk and it paid off.
I have written over 40 social media ads for Omaze and counting. If you would like to see more simply drop me an email. I would love to bring my creativity and boldness to your brand.
